Lost in his search for food, he trots upstream on Waller Creek; nose low to the ground and eyes looking up. His natural, verdant surroundings transition to chain-link wrapped boulders and concrete that stop erosion from the streets’ inevitable runoff into the stream.  Aware of the changes in smell and the late night cacophony of nearby Rainey Street, he looks for a way past.  Panting, he finds an empty footbridge and continues into the city padding through the urban maze in search of another greenbelt.
